Illustration Mentorship — Labyssos

How sessions are priced at Labyssos

Pricing reflects the structure and depth of each engagement — not an arbitrary tier system. Each option is designed around a specific working rhythm and level of involvement.

Areas of practice addressed across sessions

Mentorship sessions draw from the following domains depending on where your work currently needs the most attention. Not all areas apply to every session — focus shifts as your practice develops.

Visual thinking and ideation

Working through how ideas get from concept to image — thumbnail generation, compositional logic, and the decisions that happen before a final piece begins.

thumbnail sketching compositional planning concept iteration visual problem framing

Technical execution and medium

Addressing the specific tools and methods you work with — whether analogue, digital, or mixed — and how technique choices affect the legibility and tone of the finished image.

Practice structure and output consistency

How work gets made on a regular basis — sustainable creative schedules, review frameworks, and the practical side of building a body of illustration work over time.

Can the tier be changed after starting?

Yes. Tier adjustments can be made at any monthly renewal point. Moving between Foundational and Sustained is common as schedules shift. A minimum of one full month at the current tier is required before switching.

Are sessions location-dependent?

All sessions are conducted remotely and synchronously. Labyssos operates nationally — clients across Canada access the same session structure and response standards regardless of region.

What is the minimum commitment?

Engagements start with a two-month minimum across all tiers. This reflects the realistic minimum needed for feedback to connect across multiple sessions and produce meaningful directional shifts.

How are sessions scheduled?

Sessions are booked directly through a shared scheduling tool at the start of each month. Cancellations with 48 hours notice can be rescheduled; late cancellations count toward the monthly session total.

Is there a trial session available?

A single introductory session at CAD 90 is available before committing to a monthly tier. It covers current practice review, goals discussion, and a summary of what ongoing sessions would focus on.
